That opening almost prevented me from listening to the whole song, good thing I finished because it gets FAR better… For being limited entirely to FL Studio mobile, and therefore, FLEX instruments (which, trust me, I know how much they suck too) this is really damn fine

i know exactly what you're saying, there are some parts that are really strong and then others that seem to not reach quite the same peak. i've been having trouble with cohesion and i tend to blow the original intent of the song way out of proportion by adding too much. just gotta keep practicing the editing process! i wanna see if i can't add some more syncopation to make it more fluffy and bouncy like a nice doughnut on a sunday morning if u catch my drift. i appreciate ya xo.

Seems like you’re going through your LABS soft piano phase just like I did a while back
The only problem with this song is that there’s a few parts where it sounds like the melody is totally aimless, but the chord progression you used totally makes up for it — really nice stuff

Thanks for the feedback! I always have difficulties writing melodies alone, but I am good at finding some neat chord progressions, and then I build melodies on top of that. I recognized that the melody in the A section felt it lacked variation and also there aren't really any high peaks in there, so I tried to make up for that in the B section of the song. Anyway, next time Ill add more attention to my melody in terms of melody contour lines and more variation :)
